Week 5 – ICYMI: An Invitation to Continue

Thank you for joining BridgesUU’s Celebrat6ion of Diversity. As we close Earth and Spirit: Sacred Stories of Sustainability, we return to the throughline connecting every story this month: relationship. From the ancestral governance of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the land based lifeways of the Kumeyaay
to the global faith movement of GreenFaith and the creative vision of Climate Storytelling 2075, we have seen that care for the Earth is inseparable from care for one another.
These voices remind us that sustainability is not a trend, it is a responsibility carried across generations, cultures, and communities. As rising waters and rising heat reshape our world, leaders like Leah Thomas
and networks like Mutual Aid Disaster Relief show us that the future will be built through justice, solidarity, and collective care.
This is not the end of the conversation. It is an invitation to continue.
