Summer Manifestations: We are here to help

Dear Partners and Friends of BridgesUU,

As we bask in the warmth of the summer sun, I am reminded of the many ways in which we, as a community, come together to support and uplift one another. This month’s theme, “Summer Manifestations: We Are Here to Help,” highlights our ongoing commitment to providing administrative and support services to our smaller UU communities and congregations. 

Small communities are the heart and soul of our Unitarian Universalist movement. You foster close-knit connections, provide vital spiritual guidance, and serve as beacons of hope and justice in your local areas. 

However, we recognize that you often face unique challenges, particularly when it comes to administrative tasks and resource management. This is where BridgesUU can be of assistance.

Our mission is to ensure that every community, regardless of size, has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.

Here are some of the ways we are here to help:

• Administrative Support: We offer assistance with a variety of administrative tasks, from managing membership records to organizing events. Our goal is to lighten the load so that congregational leaders can focus on their ministry.
• Resource Sharing: We provide access to a wealth of resources, including worship materials, educational programs, and outreach tools. By sharing these resources, we help smaller communities enrich their services and programs.
• Consultation Services: Our team of experienced professionals is available to offer guidance on issues such as governance, financial management, and strategic planning. We work collaboratively with community leaders to develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs
• Training and Workshops: We organize training sessions and workshops on various topics, from leadership development to effective communication strategies. These programs are designed to empower community leaders and volunteers with the skills you need to succeed.
• Community Building: We facilitate opportunities for communities to connect with one another, share experiences, and build supportive networks. By fostering relationships, we will strengthen the bonds that unite us and create a more resilient and vibrant UU movement.

Our work is rooted in the belief that every community, regardless of size, has something valuable to contribute to our shared mission. By supporting one another, we create a diverse tapestry of perspectives that enrich our collective journey.

As we enjoy the rest of this beautiful summer, let us remember that we are stronger together. BridgesUU is here to help, and we are committed to working alongside you in all your journeys.

This month, we are happy to be sharing “31 Days of Saving Democracy: Get Out the Vote” virtual campaign hosted by UU Justice Ministry of California and Progressive Interfaith Alliance.
