Partner in Ministry
September 2025
To be rooted in covenant is to affirm that we belong to one another, and that our faith calls us to build relationships of trust, accountability, and care.
As we enter this new congregational year, I am filled with gratitude and anticipation. September always carries with it the energy of homecoming – the return of familiar rhythms, the joy of reconnecting with beloved community members, and the promise of new beginnings.
This year, our theme is “Rooted & Rising: Faith for a Changing World.” We will begin the year with a September theme of “Rooted in Covenant” and Celebrating Diversity social media campaign of “Roots & Rhythms: Honoring Global Legacies of Learning and Labor.” We invite you to engage in both as often as possible.
At BridgesUU, we believe covenant is not only a guiding principle within small congregations, but also the foundation for how we partner across congregations. We are stronger when we share resources, wisdom, and vision. We invite your congregation to become a BridgesUU Partner in Ministry. Partnering with BridgesUU means joining a network of UU communities committed to spiritual resilience, anti-oppression ministry, and innovation in congregational life.
As a partner, your congregation will:
- Receive access to worship, learning, administrative, governance, and justice resources each month.
- Participate in Partners Gatherings for shared learning and collaboration.
- Connect with a peer leadership support network of small congregations in a variety of contexts.
- Be part of co-creating the future of Unitarian Universalism as it rises to meet the needs of our changing world.
We hope you’ll join us in partnership and our covenantal commitment to one another and to our shared ministry.
Sincerely,
AJ
