Guiding Question:

What would our community look and feel like if whiteness were not the norm?

White supremacy culture lives in our institutions as much as in society. Transformation requires decentering whiteness and making room for the fullness of human community.

Practical Applications: Audit congregational practices for white supremacy culture traits; study Widening the Circle of Concern; practice decentering whiteness in decision-making and worship.

A bold new initiative co-created with emerging leaders, dedicated to fostering UU spiritual grounding, creative expression, and cross-congregational connection focused on spiritual resilience, anti-oppression ministry, and community innovation that will assist in understanding how Unitarian Universalism is transforming to meet needs of the larger community.
