Aurora Covenant Group Picnic

Covenant groups are an easy way to make friends and build community formed mostly around 8-10 people who commit to meeting together for 6 months at a time. They are usually formed geographically, but can also be formed based on identity (BIPOC, Queer, Age, Relationship Status, etc.) or special interest, such as (Parenting, Occupation, Sports, etc.).
Each covenant group decides how often and when to meet, but generally meet formally monthly, and informally as desired. Monthly get-togethers during the week are the most common. Meetings are usually held in people’s homes and have three basic elements: Chalice Lighting, Meal, and Discussion.
You are invited to a delightful afternoon of connection, community, and conversation at our BridgesUU: Aurora Covenant Group Picnic!
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, share stories, and enjoy a meal together in a beautiful outdoor setting. Whether you’re new to the BridgesUU community or a long-time member, we’d love to have you with us!
What to Bring:
– A dish to share (potluck style)
– Your favorite outdoor games
– A heart open to love and connection
Let’s come together to celebrate the spirit of community and the joy of being with one another. We hope to see you there!
